Amsterdam, 10 May 2010 – The largest adventure and wellness park in Poland has taken a major step towards realisation. The initiator of the project, the Dutch sustainable property developer United Momentum Group (UMGroup), has received the municipal government’s permission to alter the purpose of the 203 hectares of land allocated for the Kownaty Park project, in accordance with the UMGroup’s master plan.
The nearby city of Torzym has granted the request for alteration of the zoning plan, clearing the way for the project to take place. “This is a major breakthrough in the development of the largest adventure and wellness park in Poland”, said the UMGroup’s director Martijn van Rheenen.
Kownaty Park is situated halfway between Berlin and the Polish city of Poznan, in the far west of Poland, directly on the route of the A2 motorway that is currently in development. Monday, 1 March 2010 was the day that the 84 apartments of the Lavender Resort situated in the village of Avsallar on the Turkish Riviera were completed and handed over to the new owners.
